Everyone loves an opportunity to flex their creative muscles.
October provides that chance at the end of each month in the form of Halloween. From costumes and pumpkin carving to decorating your house, kids and adults alike get to use their imagination to come up with something that is uniquely them.
At TGA of Los Angeles, we reinforce the importance of creativity in every class. A few examples include designing golf holes and unique ball marks as well as coming up with new games and building replica tennis courts. A small, but very important creative decision always comes up when students get to decide on their own team names during the group game portion of the class. Sports provide endless possibilities to a child’s creativity and we encourage our students to be creative in more ways than one.
“Creativity is contagious. Pass it on.”
– Albert Einstein
In the spirit of Halloween, we’re running an international Halloween Instagram contest, where your child can show off his or her creativity. All you need to do is post a picture or video of your child playing sports in costume, displaying his/her sports-themed jack-o-lantern, or any other way they got creative by combining sports and Halloween. Use the hashtag #TGAHalloween18 to enter. One winner will receive a $50 voucher to an upcoming program of his/her choice while we’ll share our favorites in an upcoming newsletter.
Don’t forget to get creative with your submissions and to have fun this Halloween!
We’re excited to offer two special Halloween themed golf events this year. Come to either or both dressed up in costume. Hope to see you there!
