TGA of Southeast Michigan

Registration is open for 2021 summer camps

TGA camps were socially distant in 2020. We hope we can resume handshakes and high-fives in 2021, but if not, we will still provide a safe experience for your kids, with temperature checks, social distancing and plenty of hand sanitizer.

We’re excited to announce an expanded schedule of summer camps for 2021, with 40 available sessions. Here are the highlights:

— For the first time, we will have a camp in the city of Detroit. Three sessions of morning camp will meet Monday through Thursday at the refurbished Belle Isle Driving Range, which will include a putting green, two chipping greens and a five-hole par-three course in 2021. On Friday, kids will play a regulation nine holes at nearby Chandler Park.

— We have a terrific new location in east Macomb County. Oak Ridge Golf Course has two 18-hole courses, plus an excellent practice facility with all-grass driving range, two putting greens and a bunker. Oak Ridge is conveniently located just off I-94 at 26 Mile.

— Most sessions are open to children entering Grades 1-9, but we have two special sessions of advanced camp for golfers ages 11-16 who have tournament experience and hope to play high school golf.

— Your registration includes a one-year membership to Youth on Course, which allows children to play golf for $5 or less at participating courses throughout the country.

— As always, lunch is included for all-day camps, plus kids will receive a collared golf shirt, three TGA logo golf balls and other small gifts. If your child does not have golf clubs, TGA will provide a free loaner set for the week.

— Half-price scholarships are available for families who qualify for free or reduced school lunches.

— For everyone, there are big discounts for the all-day camps if you register by March 31. No coupon code needed; discounts are applied automatically at checkout.
