TGA of Southeast Michigan

Registration open for spring classes, leagues and parent-child events

Instructor Daniel Kleczynski helps a golfer during a winter class at the Northville Community Center.

TGA has a very busy spring schedule planned, with indoor and outdoor after-school classes, plus leagues and parent-child events. Here’s the spring lineup:

— Forty enrichment classes at schools, community centers, parks and golf courses throughout the metro area. Most are right after school, but we also have classes on Saturday mornings and some weekday classes that start at 5 p.m. Several school districts are still finalizing spring policies, so it’s possible that we’ll be adding more classes soon.

— Four competitive leagues (Saturdays and Sundays at Somerset Park in Troy, Saturdays at Maples in Novi, and Sundays at Rammler in Sterling Heights). The leagues start the weekend of April 24-25 and there are two age divisions at each location. The 8-10 group plays a scramble format. Players in the 11-15 group play their own ball, with the top three of four scores counting toward the team total.

— Two parent-child events (Saturday, May 1, at Oak Ridge in New Haven and Sunday, May 2, at Links of Novi).
