TGA of Southeast Michigan

Congrats to Northville team, Lauren Timpf and all 23 girls who competed in state events

TGA once again was well represented in the state high school girls championships Oct. 16 and 17.

There were 23 girls who are former TGA students or current assistant coaches (or both) who qualified for these prestigious events, and four came home with trophies!

Congratulations to sophomore Lauren Timpf of Lutheran North, who won the Division 3 event by an astounding 14 strokes. Lauren shot a six-under-par 66 on Friday and a 73 on Saturday.

Three TGA coaches were part of the Northville High team that won the Division I title. Megha Vallabhaneni finished third individually with rounds of 75-71, while Samantha Coleman tied for 13th at 154 and Meghana Lanka tied for 20th at 162.

Other top finishers were Sabel Imesch of Grosse Pointe South (tied for fourth in Division 2), Olivia Hemmila of Troy Athens (tied for 9th in Division 1), Brooke Morris of Plymouth (tied for 16h in Division 1) and Ava Weeks of Troy Athens (tied for 18th in Division 1 at 160).
